In this tutorial you are going to see how to add bars effect to your video using openshot video editor. first open openshot video editor and import video in project files. Drag and drop the video on timeline. You can see there are no bars around this video. now click on effects tab below project files. Drag and drop bars effect on clip on timeline By default top and bottom bars will get added around video you can play the video in preview window to check it. Right click on effect name on the clip on timeline and click on clip properties click on bar color and choose a color click on ok To change the size of borders or bars drag the each side slider on left or right side as you need. To add left and right side borders or bars drag their respective sliders. So this is how you can add bars or borders around your video using openshot video editor.
